Client commission of one of those lovely ear worms from The Wrath of Khan.
This was probably my first major organic sculpting project, and I think I learned quite a bit about the process.
I used Blender's dyna-topo features heavily and exported/imported several times to zbrush for remeshing as the base took shape.
The final blender export was about 1.4 million poly, but I had to crank that down with zremesher to fit within Shapeways specifications for uploads.
I call him Sluggo, and we're the best of friends.
